At the core of our church community lies a heartfelt mission - to embody the love, generosity, and kindness of God in every encounter we have. Our particular focus is on reaching out to those in our local community who face the challenges of poverty, loneliness, and hopelessness.
Our vision is simple yet profound: "To Live in His Love and Live It Out," inspired by John 13:34-35.
Through the Community Life Hubs, we aspire to be a beacon of hope, compassion, and support for all, especially those going through difficult times.

Llanelli Foodbank is working alongside churches throughout Llanelli and Carmarthenshire to support the needs of local people by providing spaces that are warm, welcoming and safe, giving access to support and guidance that may otherwise be inaccessible. The Community Life Hubs are open to anyone, so please feel free to pop in at anytime for a drink and a chat.
The Community Life Hubs provide a variety of services, this may include:
A WELCOME AREA & INFORMATION POINT
Our friendly team of volunteers are here to help and signpost you to relevant local services, organisations, statutory bodies, events and activities that they feel may be of benefit to you.
LLANELLI FOODBANK PARCEL COLLECTION POINT
Our Foodbank is only available with a referral. You need a voucher or a referral to access the food bank. You can get one from an agency or care professional, or contact the team on 07594 609952.
We’re open for collection from the following locations:
Myrtle House - Mondays & Wednesdays between 10—1pm and Fridays 11.30-2.30pm.
St John’s Church, Pontyberem - Thursdays between 10—12pm.
St Michael and All Angels Church, Dafen - Thursdays between 1.30—3.30pm.
A SAFE SPACE
We open our doors every week to offer a safe, welcoming space where people can just pop in for a chat and a warm drink.
THE MONEY SUPPORT PROJECT
An accessible space for individuals who are struggling with debt or other money matters to receive help and support from trained Llanelli Foodbank team members.
CONNECT GROUP
Meet our team and make new friends. Get involved in creative craft sessions providing opportunities for people to take part in an organised craft activity and connect with others.
WINTER COAT PROJECT
We have a selection of free to take coats available for anyone who is need of one. Adult and children sizes available.
WARM MEALS
Warm meals are provided when required in the Life Hub or through our Community Cafe. (This service is currently only available at the Myrtle House Community Life Hub).

The Community Life Hubs rely on the generosity of our local community , and we would be very grateful if you would consider partnering with us as we seek to continue to serve the most needy in our community. If you feel that you are able to donate in any way (financially or volunteering some time) or would like to partner with us to set up a Community Life Hub then we would love to hear from you.

VOLUNTEER
We have a small dedicated team of volunteers who help as part of the work of Llanelli Foodbank and the Community Life Hubs, but we are always looking for new people who have a real heart for people and our local community to join our team. If you would like to volunteer any time you can give will make a huge difference. We couldn’t do the work we do without our amazing team!
