| The Nursery Facility |
 The Nursery is a bright, airy and clean environment. The room is light and spacious and beautifully divided into different dedicated areas of learning which makes it stimulating and inviting yet educational and fun.It has a purpose built toilet facility with provision for nappy changing. There is a modern kitchen facility and a fully equipped office. The children have a designated, secure outdoor play area with a variety of equipment including trikes to ride, climbing frame, playhouse, tables, benches, sand and water play for the children to enjoy. We also have a potting shed where children begin to learn the joy of sowing seeds and seeing things grow. When it rains the children can have use of an indoor soft play area. There is a large meeting room at the other end of the building that the children can have the use of when it is raining to enable the children to have an indoor soft play area. This large room is also used regularly for physical development. As young children are constantly on the move, they need an environment in which they can practice their emerging physical skills and with the use of soft play can do so safely. This indoor area is also used for dancing and music movement. A computer area is available for children to develop their IT skills. Using the different programs the children can look at colour, shape and numbers. The older children can take part in typing exercises using the keyboard as well as programs suitable for their age group. |
