Care & Advice

We offer free pregnancy tests and free confidential and unbiased counselling. Sometimes, finding you are pregnant can be a confusing and frightening experience.

In a caring and friendly atmosphere you can talk over your situation with a trained counsellor. She will offer you relevant information, help you to weigh the options and come to an informed decision.
 
What we do?

We offer free confidential help if you are facing an unplanned pregnancy or have post-abortion concerns. We provide help and support for both women and men.

You can come along to The Myrtle Centre during open hours without an appointment or you can talk to someone over the phone. There is also a 24 hour answering service, so you can leave a message anytime.
 
 
Family Help
You may have a partner, a family member or a friend who is pregnant and you need help or advice. Please contact us - we are here to help you
 
Practical Help
We also offer, if appropriate, baby clothes and equipment, help with finding accommodation and some one to befriend and support you through your pregnancy.
 
Post Loss Help

The Myrtle Centre provides help to men and women who are having problems after a loss.  We provide counselling after a miscarriage, or a still birth. In addition to this we help individuals who may still have unresolved problems many years after their initial loss.
