Be Godly

This Great little article was given to me and I thought you might like to
see it.

NOT all the things America starts first are wise trends for us to follow but
a new phenomenon has been reported Stateside that we could do with making
endemic here.

Random acts of kindness, as featured in last week's column, are becoming a
chain reaction to the economic doom and gloom.

People are anonymously paying for a coffee or cake for the person behind
them in the Starbucks queue. As they pay their bill they add a little extra
in to take care of the next customer and then leave without taking credit.

At Wal-Mart another customer donated $20 to the bill of the woman behind
without telling her. The recipients have been delighted, overwhelmed or
reduced to tears but are declaring their intention to pass it on to create a
ripple effect of kindness and goodwill.

These are small, simple and humble gestures that people are consciously
choosing to do rather than reacting to a given situation when help is
needed.

The explosion of hope in the goodness of humanity all summed up in a free
cup of coffee. Will you be first in the queue?

Small, humble gestures of generosity are the antidote to a hopelessness that
can be overwhelming. Proverbs 21:26 (NLT) 26 Some people are always greedy
for more, but the godly love to give!

Make a conscious choice to be Godly where ever you can. I dare you.
