About Bill

Bill's passion is to introduce people to the amazing Jesus who transforms lives, forgives sin, heals hurts and gives dynamic purpose to life. Bill loves to teach the Word of God in a way that enables people to know God personally and how He wants them to live for the benefit of others and the Glory of His son, Jesus.
Bill represents those who fellowship at Myrtle House and those who serve in the many ministries through his involvement with the Local Authority and through his work with Gweini. He also volunteers as a School Governor in two local primary schools. Bill believes that every Christian should be actively involved in their community.

Why do we Sing in Tougues and in English?

1 Corinthians 14:15
Why do we Sing Songs as well as Hymns?
"Don't be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, let the holy spirit fill and control you. Then you will sing Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, making music to the lord in your hearts."

"All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes to make it possible." ~ T.E. Lawrence "I paint objects as I think them, not as I see them." ~ Pablo Picasso "The most pathetic person in the world is someone who has sight, but has no vision." ~ Helen Keller "Keep yourself clean and bright; you are the window through which you must see the world." ~ George Bernard Shaw This month sees our nation getting a new government, whether they have been in office before or not, they will see this as an opportunity to start again and to try to shape our nation for good. They all have a vision of how our country should be run. They believe in their plans, hopes, and dreams unreservedly. They will put themselves in the firing line for what they believe, they will argue with anyone about the benefits of what they believe in, they know and understand their manifesto so that when asked, they can explain what it is saying, (in theory). How much more effective could the church be if what I have just written was about us, Jesus' church? Do you have a vision for your community? Do you believe in the plans of our leader, His hopes and dreams for the people of our community? Will you get in the firing line for what you believe? Will you argue (nicely) with people about the benefits of what you believe? Do you know and UNDERSTAND the manifesto of Jesus Christ. Mt 5:17 17 "Don't misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. Lk 5:32) 32 I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners and need to repent." Jn 6:38 38 For I have come down from heaven to do the will of God who sent me, not to do my own will. Jn 12:46 46 I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark. Heb 10:9 9 Then he said, "Look, I have come to do your will." He cancels the first covenant in order to put the second into effect. Our nation needs to be lead by people with vision; the problem, in my humble opinion, is that their vision is just a bit limited. You see, I happen to think that the one with the best view of the future is the one who is already there and who is willing to lead us, by his Spirit. So, what is my point? It's simple this we should be involved in as many areas of 'ministry' as we can within our community, God is looking for his church to set the standards, to speak out against injustice, to care for the marginalised and forgotten, in other words TO BE A COUNTER CULTURE, to show a better way, to point to the cross and say this is the way follow me............... I know where I'm going, I can see! |
